Draw in shapes exercise

I present to you an artwork that emerged from an exercise I found on Clip Studio's website. With this exercise, I aimed to enhance my skills in character development, character design, and concept art. The resulting piece showcases six different characters, each with their own unique traits and stories.

The first character is a cute girl with a grumpy expression. Despite her seemingly unhappy demeanor, her elegant gown gives off a princess-like aura. In fact, I meant her to be an "escapee princess" with a deeper story of her hate toward being part of a royal family.

Next is a cleaning robot, a testament to the fusion of technology and everyday life. This character embodies functionality and efficiency, serving as a reminder of our increasing reliance on automation and artificial intelligence in modern society.

The third character is a figure representing a typical skinhead living on the streets. The portrayal suggests a complex individual who may be grappling with a mental illness or syndrome.

The fourth character is a monster or alien, captivating attention with its striking green color. Its head appears to be tearing apart, revealing glimpses of its unsettling insides.

The fifth character is either an anorexic skeleton or just simply a skeleton. They live in a graveyard and want to befriend its grave keeper but end up scaring him off each time they approach him.

The last character is a materialistic business owner. He is wearing green underwear, which might be an allegory of Robin from an alternate universe where he became the stereotypical CEO of some big company.

This drawing exercise allowed me to delve into the realm of character design and concept art, pushing the boundaries of imagination and storytelling. In the future, I would like to elaborate more on these characters and create a deeper story for each one of them.
